Taking Back the Classroom

View the full book online.
Taking Back the Classroom is a how-to guide for students to take control of their education. Through a combination of research, statistics, and personal narrative, the print and digital book explores three issues affecting students today: classrooms that don’t consider different learning styles and personalities, pressure to succeed and fear of failure that leads to massive stress and anxiety, and disengagement from a curriculum that focuses heavily on standardized testing. The book provides action items that students can take for each of these three issues. The project aims to get students to the forefront of the movement for better education by putting the power in their hands.
